Tsunami Academy is not onboarding — it is a high-performance development system. Every technician who
completes this program has demonstrated, not just studied, the standards required to represent Johnny
Tsunami in the field.
This system is built on four principles:
- Progression over time. You cannot skip ahead. Each phase builds on the last.
- Demonstration over declaration. Saying you know something is not the same as showing it.
- Accountability at every level. Instructors sign off. Trainees sign off. Nothing is assumed.
- Quality as the baseline. The minimum standard here is higher than the industry average.
Program Structure at a Glance
- Phase 1: Orientation & Culture — Week 1, Days 1–2
- Phase 2: Safety Training — Week 1, Days 2–3 (includes certification test)
- Phase 3: Equipment Mastery — Week 1, Days 3–5
- Phase 4: Chemical Knowledge — Week 2, Days 1–2
- Phase 5: Core Service Training — Weeks 2–3 (supervised field work)
- Phase 6: Job Flow & Execution — Week 3
- Phase 7: Customer Experience — Week 3
- Phase 8: Performance & Accountability — Week 4
- Final Certification — End of Week 4 or when all phases are complete
